The Carlota Barrera Team is on the lookout for a bold, clever, and Creative Content Creation & Social Media Intern at our studio in Madrid; someone who values authenticity on social media, feels confident creating TikTok and Instagram content, and always keeps up with the latest trends to stay relevant. We are looking for someone passionate about content creation (video and static) and sensible to the luxury industry. With your finger on the pulse of what’s trending in marketing, fashion, and the social media landscape, you stay relevant.
The internship duration is 4 to 6 months.
ROLE & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Producing and editing quality content for Carlota Barrera’s Instagram, TikTok and other social channels
Identifying emerging trends and activating quickly to drive innovation, grow engagement, and community size within the platform
Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications Team to develop weekly content calendars and content pillars
Reporting on top-performing content for data-driven content creation
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Showcase knowledge of Carlota Barrera’s products and the brand’s history. Uphold brand’s image standards and guidelines.
You are pursuing a degree in communications, digital media or design
Self-motivated, solution-oriented and hands-on
Proficiency in TikTok and Instagram and all things content creation and management
Exceptional writing skills
Great organizational and project management skills
Team player, happy to help where needed
Interest in having an in-depth understanding of the luxury fashion industry
Must qualify for school credit
Must be able to work 20-40 hours/week
YOUR PROFILE:
An impeccable storyteller — you know how to capture attention and maintain it
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker
The ability to produce all kind of content on applicable social media channels that catch people’s attention
A curious nature and eagerness to learn how to create expert growth marketing content for all our social channels
A passion for and intimate familiarity with all things TikTok, Instagram, fashion, etc.
Able to create engaging content (images and video) that aligns with brand look and feel, bring new ideas to the team, and thrive in a highly collaborative environment
The ability to shoot and edit comfortably, as well as natively in-app (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
Experience creating content for TikTok and Social on either a brand or personal channel
An understanding of platform - specific social media best practices.
