ANONIMABYCM X CARLOTA BARRERA

For our Spring Summer 2019 we collaborated with Spanish embroidery artist Anonima by cm. All our embroidered garments were designed, patterned and cut in London. The embellishment materials were chosen in Paris during our research process, and sent over to the embroidery atelier in Spain, where Anonima by cm worked on the embroidery design and hand embroidered all the pieces. In her atelier she placed one by one the embellishments and combined traditional embroidery elements such as paillettes and beads with less conventional materials like PVC ‘scales’ and raffia. After all this work the garments were sent back to the UK where we carefully sewed everything together.
